Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actor since the early 1990s. The most notable part of her career was that of Penelope Garcia, in the popular police procedural crime show Criminal Minds. Kirsten Simone Vangsness was also a part on two spin-off series "Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' and Criminal Minds: Speculative Behavior. Although she's primarily known as a TV actor, Vangsness also has several smaller roles in films. Her first appearance was in the industry of entertainment in the year 1998. In the film industry, she is known for her work in "In My Bed", "The Chicago 8" as well as in "Kill me, deadly". Alongside writing articles for 'The Los Angeles Times', she also co-wrote of three episodes for the show 'Criminal Minds'. She is known for rescuing and rehabbing injured or abandoned cats.
